Mr. Mayara meets with the President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of Mali.

The President of the Chamber of Counselors, Enaam Mayara, held talks on Wednesday in Rabat with the President of the Economic, Social, Environmental, and Cultural Council of Mali, Yacouba Katilé, who was visiting the Kingdom at the head of an important delegation.

This meeting was an opportunity to commend the fraternal relations uniting the two friendly countries, based on a common historical and civilizational heritage and a strong willingness to develop them in all areas in the service of the interests of both peoples.

On this occasion, Mr. Mayara highlighted the sustained efforts made by the Kingdom under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the service of peace and development in the African continent, noting that Mali is a major player in the framework of the Royal Initiative aimed at facilitating access of Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean.

After reviewing the specifics of the Moroccan parliamentary experience, Mr. Mayara emphasized the importance of the role played by Economic and Social Councils institutionally, highlighting the various aspects of close cooperation between the Chamber of Counselors and the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of the Kingdom of Morocco.

For his part, Mr. Katilé praised Morocco's constant support for his country, as well as the efforts that the Kingdom continues to make to defend the territorial integrity, stability, and security of Mali.

He also expressed his country's willingness to benefit from Moroccan experience and to closely follow the development in the Kingdom, especially in terms of political and institutional reforms, which have made Morocco a model to follow at the continental and regional levels.

During this meeting, Mr. Katilé also shed light on the activities of the Economic, Social, Environmental, and Cultural Council of Mali, stating that his visit to the Kingdom aims to strengthen cooperation relations with the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of Morocco and to share expertise in various fields
