Participation of the House of Councillors delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in the Spring Session

The Moroccan parliamentary delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is participating in the Spring Session taking place in Strasbourg from April 15th to 19th of this month. The Assembly is expected to adopt its legal opinion on the Council of Europe's draft agreement on "Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law" during an "urgent" discussion. Additionally, there will be a debate on "Addressing the humanitarian disaster in Gaza and preventing further escalation in the Middle East."

This Spring Session aims to enhance cooperation among member states, exchange views and experiences on current issues facing the European continent. Participants will discuss various topics including human rights, democracy, social justice, sustainable development, security, and peace in the region.

The session will be characterized by the presence of important figures delivering speeches to the members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, including His Serene Highness Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Mr. Nicolae Popescu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova. Dominik Hasler, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liechtenstein, will present the statement issued by the Ministerial Committee under Liechtenstein's presidency of the Council of Europe.
